If you were looking for parties and celebrations, March was the month for you. It was packed with energy. From art and culture to dance floors and big ideas, there was always something happening. It brought people together, and honestly — it was a great time to be around.

March 8: ArtOn 2025
Creativity, talent, and accomplishment are what ArtOn is all about. This year, the competition was intense. Mercator College was the one to stand out amongst the other competing colleges; they are, in fact, known for their artsy personality. Each performance was unique. The students portrayed their artistic minds in various ways. ArtOn was followed by a celebratory night at our student bar: TOS, appreciating the hard work the students put into it.

March 15: Young Entrepreneur Summit
Student entrepreneurs were brought together to innovate, connect, and learn about what the business industry is all about. Opportunities were open for the students as they pitched start-up ideas, gained insight from business leaders, and worked together in workshops to apply their skills and knowledge to the real world. And of course, there was an afterparty full of positivity, leaving the business stress behind.
March 15: Pi Day Party
If you wanted to show off your mathematical skills or pie-baking skills, the Pi Day party was the event for you. Although the actual Pi Day was on March 14, the extension of its celebration got us all free pie!
March 15: ArtFest Artsy Night
Presented to you by ArtFest, our usual Friday bar night turned artsy. The night was filled with lively conversations, laughter, and, of course, plenty of drinks to keep the creativity flowing. Whether you were there to create, admire, or just enjoy the ambiance, it was an unforgettable experience.

March 21: St. Patrick’s Day
TOS Sláinte! St. Patrick’s Day was here and celebrated in an Irish-themed bar night. For the Emerald Isle and the yummy Guinness, students came together all in green. Éire go Brách!

March 22: Uni Ball Cup
Basketball season was back in March with the Uni Ball Cup: an inter-university basketball tournament! Our Basketball Club invited 2 teams from Uni Bremen, 1 from Uni Hannover and another team with players from Rwanda. Campus Crew also performed before the final match and all students were welcomed to join in the Sports Convention Center during the whole event day and cheer for our players. Unfortunately, our team did not win first place, as Uni Bremen A came in first and Uni Bremen B second. However, our team came out strong and will continue with its strength for the next tournament.
March 22: Disco Deewani at TOS
The ultimate Bollywood experience was in TOS. Students danced and vibed to the wonderful Bollywood tracks that were playing all night. The culture of Bollywood was celebrated, and it brought a diverse feel into the night. If you wanted to show off your talents in dance, Disco Deewani was the party to be.
March 28: European Culture Night for Graduate Students
To end this lovely month of March, the graduate students had their own fun celebrating their European traditions at TOS with drinks, music, and fun from across the continent.
March gave us moments to celebrate, connect, and just have fun. From start to finish, it felt like the campus was alive. If the next months are anything like this, we’re in for a good time.
